Arlekin Players Theatre Presents: “The Guest”

BOSTON, MA – Arlekin Players Theatre will perform their new production “The Guest” a creative adaptation of works (“Stone Guest”, “Scene from Faust”) written by the most famous author in Russian literature, Alexander Pushkin. Adapted and directed by Igor Golyak, the performance will take place at Boston Playwrights’ Theatre (949 Commonwealth Avenue Boston, MA 02215) at 8:00 pm on December 9, 10, 11, 16, 17 and 18 and at the Marblehead Little Theatre April 7 and 8.

Tickets will be sold at $25 each and can be purchased by going to our website www.arlekinplayers.com. Tickets should be purchased well in advance as performances have proved to sell out very quickly.

The actors include: Gene Ravvin, Alana Kumalagova, Igor Golyak, Eduard Snitkovsky, Irina Bordian, Daniel Barenboym and Alexander Petetsky.

Arlekin Players Theatre, a non-profit organization, was founded in 2008 and has grown into a worldwide sensation practically overnight. Apart from sharing their artistic talents in the U.S. (throughout MA, NY, CT and Chicago), the company has traveled internationally to Lvov, Ukraine to perform their masterpiece. Most recently, the company won both state and regional competitions of the American Association of Community Theatre (AACT) and has been picked to represent the United States in the International Theatre Festival in Monaco in 2013. The mission of Arlekin Players Theatre is twofold: 1) to enrich, educate and entertain the audience by adapting classical and contemporary Russian literature in a playful and thought provoking way; 2) to build meaningful connections between Russian and American cultures through shared human experience.
