Two people, one border. Leonid Zorin's Warsaw Melody follows a Polish singer and a Russian student across twenty years of a love the state will not allow.

Leonid Zorin's two-hander is a Soviet-era classic: a Polish conservatory student and a Russian veteran meet in Moscow in 1946, and a new law forbidding marriage to foreigners decides the rest of their lives.

Arlekin performed it in Russian from February 21 to March 2, 2014, directed by Igor Golyak.
